What began as an outdoor photo studio turned into a beautiful event center for weddings and receptions. "I wanted an outdoor studio with a black bottom pond where I could get beautiful reflections", said Christi Kuchenski, Director of Weddings in the Park. The landscaping kept expanding and now there is a half acre that include large grass areas, a beautiful reflection pond, waterfall, bridge and wrap-around walkways leading to a dance area. Our first wedding was in August. "It was beautiful...especially the reflection of the bride and groom during their first dance," said Kuchenski. Kuchenski has been shooting weddings for several years as Memory Maker Photography.

Merging the two businesses together is an exciting new endeavor. "I have always loved weddings and striving for the perfect photos. Now I have a venue where picturesque backdrops await newlyweds." There will also be a few surprises around the property set up for unusual photos. Weddings in the Park is unique in design as a wedding venue since it was designed with photography in mind.
